Thank you! One of my favorite parts of the holidays are its rituals.
Mine have changed dramatically over the years, from helping prepare my parents' very authentic Norwegian Christmas Feast growing up to my absolute favorite one now - going to the Uintas to meet and bring home our tree. The crisp air, the smell of pine, the crack of our boots breaking through the snow... it creates such calm in a season where there sometimes isn't much. LOL. Rituals are actually quite essential to our souls, our families, and communities.
